    Duke/Texas/Ohio St.
I think the champion will be one of these three. These 3 teams seem to be head and shoulders above the rest. Obviously teams are going to lose here and there but these teams when they play to their potential are the best by far.

The big east is always dangerous. I would want to play Nova or G'town or Uconn or L'ville but I still see them as being beatable. I think Duke would shut down Kemba and DESTROY uconn. Just like they did to Polland and Kstate.

          K-St is trash.

But I will guarantee that Nobody from the Pac 10 is sniffing the Final Four.

Pac 10 has been a joke for years now. I cant even watch those teams and I used to like them growing up. UCLA is irrelevant.

I agree OSU and Texas; maybe Pitt.
                BUT no way Duke.
When the NCAA Tourney starts, the refs let the goons/thugs get away with murder.
Duke has best # 1 #2 # 3 combo in the NCAA, even without Irving, but are soft up front.
Zoubek was the key last yr, he fended off Pitt and other goon squads they ran into along the way.
                Not this yr.

OSU and Texas have a major issue: coaching. Neither Thad Matta nor Rick Barnes is competent enough of a coach to navigate 6 single-elimination games, even if the first 2 are gimmes. Recruiting is no indicator of coaching acumen. Duke looks vulnerable but if Irving is healthy again that will help a ton. Kansas has enough talent to win again. I used to think the same about Bill Self that I do of Matta and Barnes but he managed to get over the hump.

Once again, no Big East team presents a credible threat to win it all. Maybe 1 or 2 teams will reach the Elite Eight or Final Four, but the top of the Big East just isn't consistently good enough. Pitt and Georgetown are too inconsistent. ND isn't a good road team. UConn is a one-man team. Louisville and Marquette are too sloppy. Cinci and St. John's might not even make it. Cuse is just a train wreck right now. And Nova is one bad shooting night away from going home early.

Duke has no front court whatsoever, and they are far more inconsistent from the outside this year. However, all they need is a little production and they can beat anyone in the country.

Should be a great tourney. Realistically, 10-12 teams have a legitimate shot for the Final Four. Of course, a lot will depend on the seedings.

I would put Kansas in the mix also, Pitt if I had to take a Big East team.

I think you picked the best three contenders in the original post, I might look at UCONN or UL over Pitt just my opinion though

Ohio State won't win it. Not sure about the other 2
