Save your money and stop betting on this garbage.
There's no skill,no logic, and no chance winning money at this crap.Unless you have money as in a huge bankroll (at least $2,000) to throw around, which I don't then don't bother trying to make a profit at this.Parlays are nearly impossible to hit and I usually only play 3 games, but it might as well be 10 games, because even 3 is asking for too much luck to go your way and yes that is all it is.Handicapping games isn't a science it's bullshit. No one knows what the **** is going to happen from Monday-Sunday and for reasons I can't explain your better off not even betting on Saturdays because it's nearly impossible to make a profit it seems.Teams blow big halftime leads all the time.Point shaving probably is going on in most all the games it seems.Unless you have a decent size bankroll of at least $2,000,(but who the hell has money to burn) and can rely on side bets and two team parlays then you have no or little chance of making money long term at this crap.I'm done with it as it's more frustration then I can handle and again there is zero logic to this.Save your money, watch a movie, get an escort, spend time with your girlfriend if you have one, listen to music,or whatever the hell it could be,but save yourself some sanity and stop betting on this shit as it's pointless.Have a good night.NO BET IS A GOOD BET

Well said. My problem is...betting on home team Favorites bc it's so hard to win on the road (or so they say). When I do, the visiting team usually wins. Or if I bet on a dog, they get 7-8 behind with a min to go and start fouling which runs up the spread. I'm always on the losing side in NCAABB. NBA, NFL, and NHL I seem to do ok but for some reason College hoops has my number!

My friend.....it's a good thread and just have to reply. I have been gambling for over 20 years and trust me....you won't make it rich. You'll win here and there but you'll loose more than you win. I have system plays but Vegas keeps on changing and have to keep on adding filters. Year in and year out....it's the same old story...always on the negative side. The money that I have lost if save is easily over a hundred thousand. Now that's a lot of money. Wish I have never gotten into it. A huge basketball fan and March Maddness was the beginning of the iceberg. That's where I made my fist bet back in 1988. That was a long time ago.

Now I just do it for fun......entertainment only. You'll never see me put more than a penny on it.

For those who haven't start. I say don't ever get into it.

Me too, it's a hobby, I bet small (50-100) and I make flat bets only, I have not posted up since 1995, I have 3 accounts, 2 are showing minimal profits, the other is down about 6 percent.

Treat it as a hobby, like coin collecting is my advice, you'll survive, you'll have fun, you won't get rich, you may make a dollar or two, but you won't get rich.

Yeh I don't understand when a team is down by 10+ with a minute left, why foul you lose. I think I was on Marist in a large teaser and they were down by 20+ and were fouling like they thought they had a shot to win.

Theres ups and downs when you win and lose. When you winning you want to hit all the games while your hot ,cash in but if you get greedy then u lose it in one game, i have done it.
When you are losing, you try to catch up or break even before the day is done but you are willing risk high bets which will put you more in the hole because most of the time you will still lose.

Valpo was a 9 point favorite and Butler a 14 point favorite and they both lose at home today. Now you know why teasers are a waste of time and money because if your betting on the favorites this happens way too often.I have noticed one thing though as it seems if your looking to play teasers dogs getting from 5 to 7 points on the spread usually fair well in this point range for some reason. It's just food for thought, but I would tease them at least to 6 points though. Most teams that are dogs perform pretty well in this range, but it's better to go with quality teams so you still have to pick your spots. They call it gambling, not winning.

Saturday hoops is very tough compared to other days IMO for some reason. Most fickle sport out there IMO
