A lot happened in the college basketball world this week! I for one sure thought it was a great week of basketball with lots of crazy stuff occuring.
I learned that IONA doesnt EFFIN suck as some people seem to think. I also feel like GLOVER gets way to much attention when he has MACHADO helping pick up all the slack that that team needs...
I had been watching Missouri all year and was never impressed with them the hole time. I new they were a good team but they werent blowing teams out like people thought they would.
Is Kansas State a contender still in the Big12 of are they gonna hand it back over to KANSAS who squeaked a win out today against Nebraska. I did not get to watch that game though so I have no insight on the match up.
Ohio States Jarred Sullinger is a beast and has done everything correctly + more and is creating havoc.
Penn St. Is now a contender in the Big 10. I new this team would piss a lot of people off eventually just had no idea when it was going to happen and they finally knocked Michigan St. and Illinois off both ranked teams then lost a heartbreaker to SULLINGER.
Butler went to Duke early in the year and lost in a closer game then the score actually dictates IMO. Butler then goes to Hawaii and wins the Diamond Head knocking FLORIDA STATE off in the Championship. Florida St. then hosts DUKE and knocks DUKE off. This all worked out in favor of BUTLER in the end though since the #1 DUKE got knocked off by a team that BUTLER beat already as long as FLORIDA STATE can compete in the ACC.
Temple once again squeaked into the rankings only to lose once back in the rankings.
Marquette is the real deal and will find a way into the NCAA.
Does Michigan St. Continue to struggle or do they find a mold?
Georgetown has been overrated for most of the season and TEMPLE's victory over them has less and less value.
Cincinnati has finally been put in place and should be happy they even got into the #25 spot for that 1 week because they were overrated and complaining about not being ranked when they dont belong in the rankings.
Saint Marys is trying hard to break into the rankings and are playing great ball .
Most of us all love the MWC but how good are these teams really? UNLV and NEW MEXICO are good but the class of the league belongs to SDSU and BYU. Who will eventually end up playing eachother.
Will anyone go undefeated this year? Who has the best chance of going undefeated?
LAMAR is on the rise and need to be tracked closely. They have the #2 scoring offense in the country and 8th best rebounding team and share the ball very well with the 32nd best assist ratio in the country. Mike James numbers are INFLATED though with his 52 point game. He runs very streaky according to his stats.
If San Diego St. is the only team to go undefeated do they get the honor of being the #1 team in the country? Or will this turn into a BCS confrontation like BOISE and TCU in football?
