Maryland +14.5 Vrs Duke

I get it. Duke is the #1 team in the country. 3rd ranked offense. They have been blowing opponents out by an average of 26 points. However, in the words of Georges St. Pierre ... Im not impressed.

14.5 points seems a lil high against a quality team in Maryland who will be giving the #1 team its best shot.

The team that Duke has played this season the best resembles Maryland was Marquette. Marquette has averaged 80.8 points, 37 rebounds, 18 assists and a shooting average of .498, meanwhile, Maryland has averaged 80.6 points, 41.9 rebounds, 17.4 assists and a shooting average of of .497.

Incase you dont remember, Duke beat Marquette 82-77.

Defense will be the big key in this game. Maryland holds their opponents to .367 shooting.

I think Duke will pull it off in the end, but they are going to be tested, and i dont see Maryland laying down and losing by 15.

I think the Blue Devils might cover the 14.5, but I think the over 153 may be the better play. Nolan Smith has been scoring at will and Singler is due for a big game. Throw in a little Andre Dawkins and Duke ahould post a big number today. If Maryland can score 70 this one goes over.

Good luck on your play. Maryland has real trouble defending teams with good guard play. Don't know who will cover here, but Duke's guards are real good. I am staying away from this one.

this game in no way shape or form should be played at the over. im sorry, yes, there's a reason they play the game, but MD coming off dropping 90 some and duke thrashing everything in sight, add that to the acc play yesterday..no play or under on the total.

I grew up a terps fan and it pains me to say this,but the quality of guard play is just not there relative to duke. jordan williams would have to be superhuman, which in a low scoring game might be remotely more possible..but i don't like the sides either.

Obviously a big Duke fan with my screen name, but I always enjoy Duke/Maryland games. There have been some epics. I think Coach K and Coach Williams have utmost respect for each other. One of the great basketball series around.

Didn't take Charles over 75 (didn't even see it since I rarely bet props.....pissed I didn't!), but did make a big play on the Packers...

Was a disastrous 2-12 yesterday, mostly CBB and lost every pick I made (just one of those nights...). But ended a net positive for the weekend with big plays on the Ravens, Packers in the NFL and Northwestern-6, MD +14.5 in CBB.....also had a small play on under 54.5 in the Kraft fight hunger bowl......decided late to hedge the packers play with a very small bet on the Eagles -3 (+120), but otherwise was a perfect day
