Not particularly well and since there is nothing else to do there now except go to bball games and since theyve rarely covered there in the past thats why this line is the way it is. Still I tend to think otherwise.

I was thinking the same thing. I've got Purdue winning by 11, but they normally don't play well in happy valley. Purdue's stats are incredible this year though. When you do a matchup of these teams on Offense and Defense, Purdue has an edge in almost every category. I'd like to see them pull out an ATS win there tonight, however, that 2 point line movement since the opening has me considering to stay off this game tonight or wait to see if it goes down more due to overwhelming speculation that Penn St could pull out a win, which I still think is doubtful.

now i am all about "traps" and RLM but this is clearly ridiculous....i am a penn state alum and ive been to basketball games there...although the crowd has gotten better with the NIT title year, nobody cares about basketball unless they feel like the team has a legit chance to make the tourney (this team = 0%)...also the spring semester hasn't started yet so nobody will be there (the local newscast last night had highlights of qb matt mcgloin watching his old high school play basketball)...finally, penn state is awful this year, even before they lost to maine they sucked...i feel like this line might be low because penn state competed in their first two big ten conference games this year and almost won them both...they are now beginning a stretch of 5 straight against ranked teams (which they will win none)...my guy is only takin football now but i think this is so good that i may open an online account just to place my wager on purdue...what's the best?

Penn State is a one man team. Purdue should win by double digits by shooting at a higher % and outrebounding them. I am rolling with the Boilers -6.

Yes I have. And as noted previously in this thread, Penn State traditionally plays them very close, which is why this game is probably at 6 instead of 11. Purdue will will, but it's going to be a closer game than most people think.

Ohio St struggled at Iowa yesterday. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens tonight. Conference road games are always tough. Over the past 2 years Penn St is 1-1 su and 2-0 ats against Purdue in Happy Valley, Penn St is 7-4 ats VS Purdue, in Happy Valley since 1997. I also believe that the play of Brooks and Jackson takes a lot of the pressure off of Battle. Purdue has the talent to blow them out but I doubt it will happen. Come on guys this college basketball.

i will be utterly shocked... penn state ends the year at 9-20, 10-19 at best with multiple double digit losses, dechellis gets fired, hotshot recruit bouie leaves and psu basketball hits rock bottom...
