Game: Northern Arizona at Montana (Wednesday 12/29 21:00 CET)
These two teams are sharing same record so far, being 8-4 however Montana is a big disappointment this season as they were expected to be a lot better and efficient team before the season. Montana is clearly overestimated again during this season because besides home-court advantage, I don't see many weapons in their favour. They've been constant losers against against the spread, going 3-7 ATS so far. Grizzlies are off to a very slow start in fact and it's understandable because they're a very new team, having five freshmen and three juniors in the team and actually I expect them to struggle against an in-form Northern Arizona, who's been quite hot of late. Even though they're 1-2 SU in last three, they notched perfect 3-0 ATS, had a very close Rivalry game against Arizona, losing just by five (being 16 points underdogs) and won easily against Air Force in last game to boost the confidence. Lumberjacks are a real offensive threat for opponents this season and what's important they're lot better than Montana when it comes to field goal percentage. I think that in the game between two quick teams, offensive weapons will be the key and right now Northern Arizona is better on offensive end. Perimeter defense for the Grizzlies is generally a concern, while three-point shooting percentage for both teams has got a huge gap - Montana is just 25.4%, while Northern Arizona has got great 43.9%. I think that this one will be close as hell and although Grizzlies are theoretically expected to be better, they seem to be overrated once again. +6.0 is a generous spread and for me Lumberjacks are the play.
