Purdue v. Michigan. 2:00 pm

Big game tomorrow. Gonna be a great game to watch. The spread right now is Mich + 3, O/U 121. Heres what I think...

I think Michigan + 3 is good. dont chastize me just yet....

Michigan is 9-0 at home. Thats a tough number, granted some would say "They havent played anyone" Well, for that I somewhat agree. Lets just look though, they beat Oakland by 18. Oakland is 7-8 by the way. Be that as it may, this is the same Oakland team who beat Tennessee, and lost by 1 point to Mich St.

Also, Michigan lost to Syracuse, by 3 points. On a neutral floor. Thats tough money!

Last year... Purdue beat Michigan by 10 on the boilermakers own floor. Thats WITH Robbie Hummel, Jajuan Johnson, and E'twaun Moore all healthy and ballin! Oh, and I forgot to mention the fact that Manny Harris (oh yes, you remember that guy) did not even play! Call me crazy, but i might be inclined to take a little moneyline action on that one!

Now, for the O/U which is 121. I have to take the over. Granted both teams have great Defense, but when I look at a matchup like this. I think to myself two GREAT teams(and by great teams i mean top 25 material, and note i said "material" because Michigan is not in the top 25, but I think they should be) absolutely are NOT gonna bore us to death. Lets face it here, games around that 110-120 mark are downright boring. So, if I had to guess at a total I think it will be 133, with Michigan winning by 5. Hope that helps, and I would love to hear other's thoughts and opinions!

Man.....I just don't see Michigan winning this game. Purdue is battle tested, Michigan is young and inexperienced in these type of games. I think it hurts that their Big 10 home opener falls on Christmas Break, as the student section won't be hopping like normal.
I see Purdue winning by 8 to 10 points.

This game will be starting at 2:00, for whatever reason IMO when the home team plays at a different time than they normally do , it seems to affect them , I like Purdue in this game.

Purdue is the obvious pick here. Their offense took a hit without Robbie Hummel but they're still a talented, veteran team against a team many believed could go 0-18 in Big Ten play after losing Manny Harris and Deshawn Sims. Points will be at a serious premium in this game as both teams rely heavily on defense. I don't think Michigan has won a Big Ten opener in a long time. Last year their defense let them down against a bad Indiana team at Assembly Hall, and the year before that a Wisconsin team without Jon Leuer got out to a double-digit lead by the under 12 TV Timeout in the first half and it never got much closer than that.

The only chance Michigan has is 1. make their 3s, 2. Darius Morris has to outplay E'Twaun Moore, 3. Michigan's freshman centers can't foul JuJuan Johnson a gazillion times, and 4. none of Purdue's other players can have a big game.

Michigan +5 for me. Purdue is 2-5 su in Big 10 openers under Painter and this Michigan team is much improved. The student section will be packed, since a lot of the students are in state residents and Christmas is already over. Purdue has struggled in the past playing at Michigan too, losing by 9 points the last time. Also strongly considering the over in this game.

This game appears to not be televised at all. I have watched some of the most podunk college games (even games that are filmed and streamed by, seemingly, the ballboy; no score overlay and at court level) and I am surprised to not see this one.
