I don't think the Bulldogs have played worth a shit this season. They played a lot of crappy teams at home and were narrowly winning or even outright losing to the likes of ETSU and FAU. I think we saw what this team was really going to be like when the finally stepped up in class and played some quality teams. 31 pt loss to Virginia Tech and a 26 pt loss to Washington St.
Heading into tomorrows game the team has to be demoralized with the indefinate suspensions of Renardo Sidney and Elgin Bailey. They probably thought that things would eventually be OK, as with PG Dee Bost soon becoming eligible and the former McDonald's All American Sidney finally becoming eligible after sitting out more than a full year. But instead the future of this program looks a little dimmer now.
I don't think that Hawaii is anything special but they are at home and if teams like FAU and ETSU can go on the road and beat this Bulldog team certainly Hawaii should be able to win against this under manned team that is on the road trip from hell currently.
