Can anyone explain why anyone would take miami (OH) here? This spread should be closer to -12 imo. What am I missing?

Another thing to consider is the aspect of the Cincy / Xavier / Miami proximity to one another... granted Cincy / Xavier are closer, but all these players play in pickup leagues against one another and know each other pretty well so there will be a familiarity factor to consider. But Miami had to come back big to beat a bad Troy team a week and a half ago and barely won that game at home.
I'll have to look at it a little more to see opponents, etc. but just keep those things in mind. This game will mean more to Miami than it will to UC... kinda like little brother getting a shot at big brother so to speak.Comment -

Cincy wins this game by no less than 12, im from Cincinnati and a big fan of them, but im not a homer when it comes to gambling. This is the best team UC has had since the Huggins days and they by far have the most depth they have had in a long time. This team is underrated and going to cause trouble in the Big East this year. They're most prolific scorer and player being Red Shirt Freshman Kilpatrick usually does not even come in till late in the first half. Yes Miami is tough at home and Charlie Cole always has his Redhawks pumped up to play the Bearcats, but i do not see him getting them jacked enough to stay close in this one.Pound the Bearcats!!!!!Comment -
Only drawback I can find on this game is that Cinci plays again in two days and might not try to run away with this one, how motivated can they be for this. Miami-Ohio doesnt play again until the 30th and might just play to the best of their abilitites, this is a huge game for them being a smaller in state school while not so much for Cincy. All other stats favor a cover for Cincy, but more times than not it comes down to motivation. I want to pull the trigger, wish I could buy a half point, also it was at 8 for a while now back to 7.5, somebody believes in Miami enough to cover.Comment -
