We all see that UCSB upset UNLV @ UNLV thats a big feat. Now UCSB has some intersting losses that will make there case strange. An 8 point loss to a NDSU team that has been trying to make it back to the NCAA since there first appearance. A bad loss though for UCSB. A 2 point loss @ Oregon and Oregon isnt nothing spectacular but none the less a PAC 10 program. And an 8 point loss to a talented Portland team. Which are gonna have to win there way in though.

San Diego State is next #10 in the country would this win solidify an AT LARGE bid with a strong finish to end the season you think? After that the toughest competition they have left is UC IRVINE twice and IRVINE is a talented squad

If they beat SDSU and don't slip up in conference play they could get a 10 seed.

If you read my thread, I was at the game ! Santa Barabara played great, there very fast, quick and they can shoot. All 5 starters are 2nd year starters. The loses for one were all on the road but some of them there's no excuse. In my opinion there head coach needs to go, because there a very good team.

I think it would be very tough for them to get in, the PAC-10 gets no respect so the 2 pt loss to Oregon will not factor in at all, especially b/c Oregon will probably finish close to last in their conference. The loss to NDSU pretty much negates the win at UNLV so that will probably end up being a wash unless they pull off a couple more miracles.

I see the big west being a cluster f during conference play like the last couple years and only the automatic bid getting in. Probably mid pack team who gets hot at end.

Plus while I think UNLV will have a good season what if they fall apart. Kind of early to speculate what a quality win is in march now.
