Do you know Arlon personally? I am a bit curious what the relationship is. I looked at his website, and if all he says is accurate, I am definately intrigued by his long term success. Yes I do know Arlon personally and have met him a couple of times. I have been using his services for over 10 years now. It took me a while too to become more structured with my betting. I am treating this much more as an investment and less as gambling. Having consistent handicapper has helped facilitate this. Yes having more than one could help if you wanted or felt like you needed more action as long as both had a consistent history of performing well.

Sounds good. I have goin up and down the roller coaster of gambling and am just lately learning more control. No question in my mind it is an addiction just like anything else, so I am more interested in long term success rather than the rush. I like my $$$ and I would love to see more of it, more consistently.

May I ask how you have done over the course of the 10 years? Do you remain consistent on wager amounts regardless of situation? Has Arlong provided that kind of consistency to his wagers that you never find yourself in a chase at all?

It took me also a while to learn control but I like this more than the stock market where I have even less control.

I always start the season with a set amount I am able to lose if the unfortunate would happen. As the season starts I start my unit at the recommended 3%. Once that builds up then I can increase it to 4 or 5. So yes I do adjust it a little. There are never any guarantees in this, obviously, and I have to remind myself of that every time I feel the urge to load up on a play for whatever reason. Chasing bets is also something I have to personally battle whether doing this or sitting at the card table. It is never a good thing.

Hey rhino, i was just curious - on arlonsports.com it says that there are picks available for today. You're certain theres no plays right? i know you're always on top of this, but just thought id check.

rhino, can't agree more these are the most consistent plays ive seen in 20+ years gambling. not many cappers can hit 59 percent in a season and this thread got me just playing arlon and once in a while if a play jumps out i will play on my own. i mentioned that back in the thread when i posted a play (it lost) that i just put serious $$$ on these plays only. again cant agree more rhino and thanks as always for all you do i really can not wait til next year and this thread i hope you are here thanks again bro.......................DWCH

If I told you 9, I wouldn't expect you to believe me. Besides any number I put out there is just opening myself up. I believe there was one year that I was down a long time ago. And that year wasn't much at all.

haha wow I am not betting on this game. everyone I know has a different opinion and even people who are 80% in CBB over the last month have completely different views. means both games will be great - I will take a $1 wager for VCU and UCONN only because I want them to win!

I realize that this is the first public year for ArlonSports and I have to admit that my old capper pulled out another lucrative season. He does have pick for tonight and I will post it but will be playing it light. Playoffs and tournaments are so damn difficult to pick I just consider them all toss ups and make my money in the regular season. So thanks Arlon!

No problem man. I did this prove that there is a good handicapper out there that is willing to prove it by putting it all out there for the world to see. No fluff and sugar coating needed. He took his bumps but we ended up way ahead. I can't wait for Football to start and get this train rolling again. But for now, I do need to recover before I end up in the hospital with pneumonia. This is no fun.
