Any reason you like this pick? Outside of the road, travel distance/times...I can't lean USC, although I've been trying to find others to argue otherwise.

I was looking for a reason to pick USC given that roughly 87% of the bets are on Texas. Outside of that Rice game, however, Texas has had only good showings (blowouts and an OT win vs a likely top 15 in Illinois and a 2 pt loss to Pitt)..

Great call on USC..wish I had done the same. One thing that is always reinforced year in, year out is how horrible of a coach Rick Barnes is. Always has talent, beats some good teams, but always losses many games each year to inferior opponents.....

I had Texas ml as part of a parlay, so I was wrong on this game.

However, I'm not at all shocked that USC is winning, but I never would have guessed it would have been such a butt kicking. USC has played well at times this year, just not for full games and not in consecutive games. See the Nebraska contest, where they looked great for the first 24 minutes and like a JV team the last 16. (I had a play on USC that game and let me tell you, that was one painful meltdown to watch. Thankfully they lucked up and covered at the end.) They Trojans certainly are capable of winning games, especially playing at home. Besides, we are all nuts to ever trust Texas. Shame on me.

Trojans +200 was a very nice call, Shanty. Have fun spending my money!
