I'm on this. I noticed Murray State when they beat Stanford, and have kept my eye on them since. They have played the 20th toughest schedule in the nation (Sagarin), and have made a very good showing. I don't think Eastern Kentucky will stay in this game much past halftime.

Eastern Kentucky is the move here... For all those considering taking Murray State, ask yourself a question, what do you know about Eastern Kentucky that makes you want to bet against them... Or because you know a little bit about Murray State and nothing about Eastern Kentucky that makes Murray state the play. Well that reasoning is just retarded, and will only lead you to yelling at your TV or Computer screen saying **** **** WHY HOW DID I LOSE THIS!!! Well here is why you take Eastern Kentucky:
1.Murray State, a known Mid Major and made some noise in NCAA last year, this creates public awarness and line inflation against unknown.
2.Noone and I mean noone not even Eastern Kentucky fans no anything about eastern Kentucky yet the line is only two baskets, thats a little strange.
3. Line opens at 4.5 and drops to 4 with majority on Murray state, now I'm not one for reverse line movement theories but it should be duely noted.
4. Eastern Kentucky is a miserable miserable place, its cold its wet and noone wants to be there, including the Murray State team.
5. Final Reason is fundamental one, Eastern Kentucky runs a trapping zone that Murray State has not seen yet this year, it will take a while to figure out and adjust, this game also mean everything to Eastern Kentucy and virtually nothing to a Murray State team that is on the verge of being on national radar, they will over look eastern Kentucky they will get down early, then because they are the better team they might pull it out in a close finish at the end.

The only play here is Eastern Kentucky, hope I was able to help.

EKU definitely isn't going to just roll over. They are a decent team, but I think the Racers should pull this off by 6 or 7 after a hard fought game.

Eastern Kentucky is in the hills pal. The temperature and climate is the exact same............ not sure why it matters, but you obviously know basketball. Just imparting some local knowledge

Oh true, I had read a couple articles, that Eastern Kentucky was a damp cold miserable place, humidity in the air and the cold leads to being tight, even if the game isn't played outside, you can still be affected by the weather...
Hour to game time, so I guess we are going to just have to wait and see.

Thats weird Murray State off to extremely slow start, suddenly that guy thats talking about the weather being a factor looks like he might know what he is talking about... As all the Murray state backers are sitting there scratching their heads saying, how is eastern Kentucky hanging around. I'm not saying Murray won't make a run, because well they are more talented adn they should, but this game is pretty much going as I saw it going. If gambling was as easy as taking the better team, we would all be rich.

i am a graduate of tennessee tech which is in the ovc with these two teams. There is a lot of history between these schools and eku has been up and coming in the ovc while ms has been the class of the ovc for years. I am on murray and the first half has made me nervous but the last part of it makes me feel good about my pick. Neither team has size and hopefully m states quickness in the second half will dominate. i see mstate winning by 9-10 even after that half, but hey i have been wrong many times before
