best 3 team underdog teaser

It doesn't matter now, but I hit three different 3 team teasers the past 3 days. Butler/Maryland/Pitt tonight, Ohio State/Illinois/Michigan last night and Wake/Miami/USF over both nights. (I did lose out on San Diego St./BC/Duke because Duke only won by 5 instead of 6.) But I live on tobacco road and know the ACC pretty well, so I was able to clean up on the Big-Ten/ACC Challenge. I doubt I'll be so lucky with the games tomorrow, none really jump out at me, and they aren't teams I've watched as regularly.

From a pure numbers standpoint I like Davidson +10, that's a lot of points in a game like that, but Charleston has been hanging tough away from home with some good teams, and Davidson has struggled on the road. Davidson has lost a lot over the last couple years, but McKillop is one of the under-rated coaches in college basketball, and when my Pack fires Sidney Lowe, I hope they hire McKillop.

I can't say I know a whole lot about Green-Bay anymore. But I know Cleveland St. has looked pretty good this year. I think I'd rather have Clev St. +2 than Green-Bay plus 8.

Don't know jack about Western Carolina or Samford.

I'm really not sure I like any of the dogs tomorrow other than UCLA. They are getting dogged because of how bad they were last year and losing to a tough VCU squad, but they've got the talent and coaching to hang around with Bill Self who loves to play down to his competition. UCLA is no worse than Arizona, and KU played them four days ago and only beat them by 8.

Other than that nothing really stands out. I'd like to think that Oregon can hang with Mizzou, but Duke sure made Oregon look awful, and when a young team with a new coach struggles like that early, it could snowball. I do think Mizzou is over-rated though.

There are some favs I like:

I think Wofford -15 against UNCG is an absolute lock. UNCG is without question one the worst 3-4 programs in Division I basketball, and Wofford has been an up an coming mid-major for a while. They are at home, and the only reason this line isn't 25 is because of Wofford's record (2-5). But those losses are to Minnesota, Clemson, and Xavier on the road, Georgetown, and Air Force. That's quality comp right there. Which means they are ready to turn it lose and kick the shit out of a crappy team, and UNCG is as crappy as it gets. Wofford already beat SCUS by 18, and they beat UNCA, who would beat UNCG by 20. I'm going to take Wofford straight up.

I also like Murray St. -1/2 against EKU. The Racers usually clean up on inferior competition. And while I generally like to stay away from road favs, sometimes you just know who's going to win no matter how close it is. (Like with Ohio State over FSU and Maryland over Penn St.)

Anyway, good luck. If I make plays tomorrow they will be Wofford straight up and UCLA teased with whoever strikes me when I put in the bets.

I changed my teaser:

Green Bay +9.5 (line moved from GB +3 to GB +4.5)
Youngstown St +13.5 (line moved from youngstown st +8 to youngstown st +8.5)
Western Carolina +5 (line moved from Western Carolina +1.5 to pickem)

Because of the line movement, I really like GB +2.5 1st half. I also think they will win outright.

Well they didn't win, but nice hit on the teaser. I hit mine, Wofford -15/UCLA-20/Murray St -1/2. Unfortunately I lost out on my football teaser because damned Arizona had back to back extra points blocked. Ridiculous.
