MVC Wednesday Night

The Missouri Valley is busy tonight, 7 teams in action. Lets take a quick look.

Creighton (+7.5) vs BYU
This is my favorite play of the night. Yes BYU is good and they have some shooters, but in Omaha, vs a ranked opponent, its gonna be rockin and I have a hard time believing Creighton won't at least cover.

Drake (+11.5) at Colorado St.
Drake is honestly a bottom dwelling Valley team, but still Colorado St. is only 1-1 at home...I think Drake loses by 5-9

Illinois St. (+9) vs UNLV
Again, like Creighton, ISU is a good team and plays extremely well at home. It should be loud and ISU should easily cover the 9 points.

Southern Illinois (+2) vs New Mexico
Simply because Carbondale is dang near impossible to win at. ML this one.

No action on:
WSU, UNI, or MO St.

Bonus play of the night.....Michigan State (+10) at Duke.

Looks like a dog night folks.

Good luck on your plays. Can't pull the trigger on Michigan State, although I would like to getting 10 points. Just seems way too easy.

The way I see MSU is that I would have taken them +7-9, and besides one loss they haven't shown a whole lot of reason not to trust them. +10-12 range that a lot of places have is a gift in my eyes.

Early looks...
Creighton and Illinois State both sitting right on the lines, being at home I still like them.

Drake looking great.

Southern Illinois needs to pick it up.

Drake and Creighton both down 6 at half....both looking good so far.

Illinois State down 17, just ouch.

And SIU with about 3 mins left in the first down 6, still not looking terrible.


Overall it looks like a pretty good night for Valley teams.
