iowa/wake forrest

so i was checking out last night lines and saw wake forrest was only a PK against iowa. i hit it. nice little parlay with ohio state and utep. this morning the line is up to +2 for wake. i thought the odds makers had the initial line way wrong. i know iowa just blew some team out, but i think their new coach fran was trying to make a statement. i dont think iowa can hang with any real basketball team and their youth and inexperience should trouble them on the road. then again i do not know much about WF. is there too much early iowa hype or did i fade my squad too early? any insight would be appreciated

Wake too is young and inexperienced. They have flat out struggled at times. More athletic, but not necessarily a good basketball

Wake is not a "real" basketball team as you call it. They are just as terrible as Iowa is. I actually like New Mexico State in that UTEP game but good luck either way.

The team that Iowa just blew out will be getting blown out a lot this year. I live 10 min from SIUE and they just went D1 last year. So dont let that sway your bet.

This matchup is too close for me to call.....I notice that Wake is only 1-3 ATS---and thats against a weak schedule (293rd), so I figure the lines have been inflated a bit, probably due to name recognition.

Both teams turn the ball over too much to be realiable wager opportunities at this point.

Funny how vegas only makes UTEP a -4 point favorite when they just won by 17 against this team, things that make you go hmmmmm

Wake isn't just losing against the spread, they are flat out losing. They were stomped at home by double figures against Stetson, lost at home by 20+ to VCU, trailed Winthrop at home by 15 or so the whole second half before finally losing by 9, and darn near blew the game against Hampton at home, as they only led by 3 with a minute left.

This is a game between two horrific teams. If I had to guess I would take Iowa, but no way either of these losers are getting my money.

edit: Being the world class degenerate I am, I did make a play on this game.
