Alright so here's the deal, I've been betting sports for about 6 years now or so. I've never really kept track of any picks and I've never really done homework on my picks the way I should. I have not been very selective and thus probably not very profitable....I've also been big on parlays.

This is all changing now, I'm taking a much more serious approach to my betting in an effort to see if it can make me profitable. I'll be playing NFL, CBB, and CFB. I'll start the threads in NFL and CFB when I have a play on one.

I'll be posting all my picks for the CBB season in this one thread so everything will be easy to find and I'll keep a posted record. I can't say how many plays I'm going to have on average but I can say I am going to be very selective.

My first play of the year is:

UNC Wilmington +11

Good start. Now something that I didnt mention earlier is that I'll probably be laying most bets on underdogs, I'll throw in some home favorites but will not be betting ANY road favorites.

Also when I bet a dog it's usually because I think they have a good shot at winning SU, so when the price is right I will also be laying some on the ML for certain dogs. I did that tonight for UNCW at +500, I'll say in the future when I am going to bet a team ML as well BUT WILL NOT COUNT THE ML PLAYS TOWARDS MY RECORD. And in full disclosure I will show you my bets for tonight so people know I'm on the up and up but will not be showing this in the future and will not be giving betting amounts, just they plays and the records. Round 2 boys and girls. Trying to keep it on the right path tonight. As of right now there are two games that I am considering playing, I am going to keep an eye on line movement and percentages throughout the day before I announce that they are plays. But as of now I'm looking for anyone that can give me reasons why these are not good plays:

Houston +8.5 @ LSU
Illinois -6 vs North Carolina

Alright well I've decided to pull the trigger on my play for tonight because I don't see the line getting better for me. My only play ATS tonight is:

Houston +8.5

I also have a little bit on Houston ML which will not count towards my record.

I am also laying some on a small ML parlay with North Carolina and Illinois but remember that this play will not count towards my record. GL to everyone on tonights plays.

Well 1-1 yesterday....Houston just couldn't get out of their own way. Still a profitable day with my ML parlay. Lots of games on the board today and I hope to have them posted by noon.
