USC vs TCU ANY Thoughts

Was just going to post my thoughts in my thread on this game...and why I like TCU personally. In this game, USC's leading bigman Vucevic is a key component to why I'm picking TCU. While I am not necessarily arguing that Vucevic is going to have an off game, in fact I believe he'll have a strong outing, TCU's strength is in their backcourt and I see them exploiting USC's Achilles heel. While USC will struggle against the guard-play of TCU, TCU can answer Vucevic with pressing USC's guards off free-throw makes and scores (especially in the second half) and drop into a zone and force USC's other players to score. Also, USC runs a tight rotation and besides guard D.Smith, their not seeing a whole lot of production from their bench. On the other hand, TCU can and does go their bench regularly e.g. with Moss and Fields. I just see TCU's tactical advantage being the difference and the second half being where they pull away from USC. Then again, USC could come out hot from behind the arc and force TCU to play man 2 man...which we'll put a lot of pressure on TCU sophomore forward Cerina and their big men backups. Even in this scenario, TCU's big men are not their primary scorers and can fully commit to their defensive energy and boxing out. This is my analysis...looking forward to tonight

I don't know the teams that well, but my stats like USC, so my money is on them tonight (+3) also.

had tcu in a 10 point pleaser with boise st. that payed +800

both won by 15+ and covered the 5 extra points on spread for each game

pleaser bets r the way to go in college bball....small spread games r blowouts
