UConn bolts to 7/9 in polls
Wow! I was guessing the Huskies would go from unranked, not far out of the top 25 rankings to maybe 11-12. Even with half of last week's top 10 taking a loss, I didn't think we'd see that much volatility in the rankings.

    AP
    1 Duke (65) 6-0
    2 Ohio State 5-0
    3 Pittsburgh 7-0
    4 Kansas 6-0
    5 Kansas State 5-1
    6 Michigan State 5-1
    7 Connecticut 5-0
    8 Syracuse 6-0
    9 Missouri 5-0
    10 Kentucky 4-1
    11 Baylor 4-0
    12 Villanova 5-1
    13 Tennessee 5-0
    14 Memphis 5-0
    15 Minnesota 6-0
    16 Georgetown 6-0
    17 San Diego State 6-0
    18 Florida 5-1
    19 Texas 5-1
    20 Illinois 6-1
    21 Brigham Young 6-0
    22 Purdue 5-1
    23 Washington 3-2
    24 UNLV 6-0
    25 Notre Dame 7-0

    I would've put them top 5, and I was sure they'd be top 10.

In my opinion Uconn is no-way a top 10 team, they had a great run last week in Maui but I don't believe they should be in the top 10. K Walker is great, top 3 in basketball but where else does there scoring come from ? I don't see it. Also Syracuse may be ranked a bit to high. San Diego State should be ranked around 12 or so. Washington has two loses but there a really good team, they will get it going and make a nice run. UNLV I feel there a top 15 program right now.

I moved UConn up some in my power rankings but I don't believe they are anywhere near the team they played like in Maui. No way Walker can play like that forever and I just don't see much else besides Oriakhi

down 1 at half to New Hampshire. They'll come back and probably win big but these guys aren't that good. Fringe top 25 team at best

Uconn should not even be in the top 25.

Legendary coach. Best scorer and clutch player in the country. Good point guard play. Underrated low post player. They play nice defense.

Have you watched them play a game yet?

underrated low post player? They gave up close to double digit offensive rebounds in the first half against New Hampshire. Calhoun couldn't do anything last year with MORE talent. They played good defense against UK when Jones was out of the game because quite frankly UK isn't very good offensively outside of running and gunning which is neutralized by a team with athletes.

Best and most clutch player in the country= more than likely
                good point guard play= yes
                Everything else= no

Point being, they are a top 25 team. No?

Oriakhi is improving and cleans up down low.
The New Hampshire game was no surprise since they were coming off their Tourney win.
