    Early play: Austin Peay -5.5
Austin Peay is a school here in Tennessee known for a terrible football team, but a decent basketball team. It seems like year after year these guys put up points against anyone, win or lose. Granted, they don't play much defense, but in a shoot-out game against another small school I'll take AP all day. I also love playing teams off a loss to a much better team when, in the next game, they play a more equal or worse opponent (AP lost to Purdue 65-87, whereas Charleston-Southern lost to Southern Illinois 67-85). The numbers between these two teams (FG%, PPG, pts allowed, rebounds) are nearly identical. Charleston-Southern has yet to win a game away from home. The only thing that concerns me is the line opened at -6.5 and has since moved down a point.

The trends heavily favor Charleston-Southern if you prefer that method. However, I've never done well going solely off trends, so I'm trusting my own judgment on this one. I see AP covering or Charleston-Southern winning SU and nothing in between, so if you fade this, maybe throw a little on CS ML.

    Austin Peay -5.5

I hope everyone had some good time off to enjoy football and food. Good luck!

Going the opposite way, both teams stink in the early going, I see it as a close game with CS covering +5.5 easily
    GL either way
