Thanks Geeze. Usually I stop posting plays for 2 reasons. One, I start losing. Even if up for the year I don't want to see people lose money. Some guys don't get on the wagon until late and are not playing with house money. I'd almost rather lose my own money than lose someone else's cash.

The second reason is the bashing. I think you were around a couple years ago at the RX when I had an exceptional year. No play was bigger than 5 units and won well over 100 units that year. The bashers said I played "too many money lines". The next season I started posting plays on another forum and was doing well when someone said I was playing the overnights and those lines were softer than the closing lines. I play when I can win, and yeah I do play a lot of overnights during the year. And yes a lot of times the lines do move with me. What can I say, when I post my plays all lines are available at the time I post them. If they are not around what am I supposed to do, wait until they are here to make the same plays? It gets silly. And BTW sometimes I take the worst of it, last night when I posted I got UAB +2-, later in the day anyone else got them at +4. Seems no matter how well you do someone finds a reason to criticize you. When I'm winning it really doesn't bother me, after a few days of going 0-3 though just one basher can really take a piss in your Cheerio's.

I actually through the years do better with college totals than sides. I don't post them because I have to bet them quickly as the numbers move fast. I then have to decide what number to post to keep the bashers happy, then when I do post something like Richmond O147 I get guys asking should they play now that the number is 147-? Then of course a chowderhead drops by to ask what good is posting totals if we can't get the exact same number Pat? Because of that I don't even post totals despite longterm being almost 1.5% better than sides. Anyway I said all this just to say I appreciate a good word now and then but I don't like to make too much noise. I prefer posting plays to not posting them, seems to keep me disciplined. However I rather have a small group to a large following, just a few limited folks that know what's going on and are not going to bash you the first time you have a couple losing days. Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving, looking over the card now before I go to the gym, plays will be up in the next half hour. Peace out.

hey, IMO, post the totals you bet on. you do enough as it is with the research and handicapping games, people should use their own judgement in how to apply your picks. for instance i see LSU is now at minus 4 and i am just gonna pass on the game, this isnt rocket science. anyway, gl.

btw, i am a long time poker player and new to sports betting. over the short term i have been getting killed in the NBA, so i decided it makes sense for me to come to this forum to find some NCAA basketball games to bet on instead. i´ll let you know how it goes.

Creditcardclown - in my opinion college is easier to beat, especially this time of the year before conference play begins. The NBA is tough, lines are pretty snug and if you don't know what you're doing you will get killed. Very tough for anyone to beat year in and year out at widely available lines. College is no picnic either, if you don't do the work you will find it hard to win here as well. Either way I wish you the best, hope it works out for you.
