What do you all think about George Mason -4 @ UNC Charlotte and UNC -15 against Hofstra. And why is everyone all over Loyola Chicago.

Please give me input. I dont know about any of these teams except UNC but 15 seems like a lot

    I'd be cautious of UNC.

Hofstra has a very good 2 guard in Charles Jenkins (26 ppg) and UNC has a somewhat notorious history of getting scorched by offensive minded 2 guards (Harold Arceneaux, Tyrese Rice, Randolph Childress, Tim Pickett, and MANY MANY others).

No matter who the other team has in the post UNC ALWAYS doubles the post leaving open the 3 point shooters (It's a Roy Williams/Dean Smith philosophy), and this year is no different (Lipscomb had MANY wide open 3's, just didn't hit a high %).

Then consider that Hofstra has one of the best defensive centers in the country & that UNC has hardly any post depth (Zeller, Henson & Knox).

And lastly UNC couldn't put away a descent Lipscomb team at home (Winning by only 14), odds are they will struggle against a veteran Hofstra team in Puerto Rico.

With all that being said UNC should easily win. lol

George Mason is a solid pick as Charlotte is pretty bad this year. I think I am leaning hofstra and points but really I see it as toss up on that line.
