Well they've had a couple of close games but lost all 3. Kent St. is mediocre at best. Bryant is a high school team. Spiders just destroyed William & Mary, a so-so CAA team and Citadel, another high school team. The bottom line is that the A-10 is pretty strong and the MAAC is pretty weak. Homecourt means nothing in this game as Richmond is way too talented and should win by double digits with relative ease. This line is off by 5 points at least.

Iona lost to Bryant who since making the move to division 1 has been one of the worst three teams in the almost 350 division 1 teams. Richmond has sweet 16 potential.

If they're that much stronger wouldn't a first half bet and the game bet be good? It seems richmond starts off pretty strong and iona not so much. Iona has kept it close first half, but from their past games they're usually down, and if they're so much inferior it should still favor richmond. Right?

1st H is probably a good bet, but I'm trying to steer clear of those types of wagers. Examples from yesterday: Wisconsin Milwaukee close at halftime, then they win by double digits. The day before: ohio st., florida close at half time, ohio state blows out florida 2 H. Any home team can play good for a half but the chances of them playing that well for a whole game are less. 1H and 2H bets have their value at times, but you'll see the inflated lines in 1H games that get you in trouble more often than not. I'm guess Richmond is -3 1H right now. Probably OK, but I'm staying away and going with -5 for the game.

I have been watching this one. Initially agreed that Richmond looked like obvious pick, and this time of the season in NCAABB obvious isn't always a bad thing. But now, with 89% of bets on Richmond (thespread.com) and line down half a point from its opening, I'm sitting it out. Good luck, though. I hope it hits for you.
