I like them, still haven't pulled the trigger but I am about to. Might even sprinkle some on the ML.

I'm staying away from this one, normally I'd favor Saint Marys because Steve Lavin is not a very good coach and he still has Norm Robert's dregs. Plus SMC has an amazing home court advantage, but they don't have Samhan anymore.

This a tough one, St. John's is gonna be good this year with a lot of senior leaders but a new coach. Them going out west scares me and I don't know enough about St. Mary's to have a good feel for this game.

I'm taking the points, but I don't feel overly confident in it. Saint Marys has a solid backcourt returning.

I'm not playing the game, but I've said SMU all day to anyone who asks. It doesn't matter if you think Lavin is a good coach or not. his is still their first game under him. It takes time to learn a new system. This equalizes St. Johns experience advantage. SMU will use this as a resume boost. SMU has more to gain in this game. But I do think St. Johns has a better team. It could go either way, thus I don't play it. BOL on whatever you decide.

Real tough game without seeing either, but would lean St Marys.

This early really maters how good a coach is. St. Johns has just as much to gain because they need to win their non con games because play is so tough in the Big East. St. Marys lost Samhan and Henderson, St. Johns is returning I believe six. You are right it could go either way because that's how it is in all games this early. BOL

Everyone is a senior except, a big time recruit Dwayne Polee Jr. from Cali who starts. St. Johns has 10 scholarships available for next year.

I also believe that St. Johns is much bigger stronger, and more athletic. Everything went through Samhan last year and St. Marys lost a ton of size. Also St. Johns has something to prove and wants to get off on a strong start in the new Lavin Era! I took St. Johns straight up

This should be a very close game. Even if Saint Mary's does pull out a victory, does anyone really think they will win by more then 5 points? It's going to be to close to call

The sharps are big on the over at 145 from 142.

St johns should win this but i agree it is tough to pick but with the 3.5 or 4 start i would have to take that

If there's a play on this game it's definitely St Johns but I think it's too early in the season to really tell.

How about the under? Will the start time affect shooting, defense, or neither? 145 seems a tad high at first glance.
