Illinois backcourt will be to much for this UC Irvine team who has a coach teaching a new system in their first game on the road in the Big 10

Illinois is my favorite team. I've watched every single game and scrimmage so far. Be careful with them. No reason to do anything but a small .5x bet. They have to prove that they are worthy of these lines first before to consider laying this amount with them.

Cal Irvine might not be a complete pushover. New, young coach (Russell Turner) has experience with some good college programs (Wake Forest, Stanford). The Anteaters have some experience on the court -- two senior guards, an all conference forward (Eric Wise), and a big Slovakian center who got 10 starts last year. They won't win this game, but they might make a good +21 dog. I'm thinking very small play on Irvine, just to get my feet wet. It's early.
