the first thing that caught my eye was the hornets w/ such a low line being such a hot team...

i am leaning heavy on Portland... no line yet but they will probably be about a 7 pt fav or so, if not -9 that will make the ML aroun -350 or -400..... could be one leg of one solid ML parlayComment -

definitely... that was a real kick in the but kind of loss at home for portland, and they don't lose at home often.... the knicks are probably getting tired, had to play tough game with lakers that went OT in that stretch, plus they are not very good team anyways.... with the NCAA there are some really crappy matchups... but in those matchups there are some 3-17, and 4-14 teams playing, which indicates they rarely win, good for fading them with ML parlays.... I saw Niagra... definite possibility.... they played last friday on short card and a lot of people here were fading them for ST Peters i think because they had been playing poorly recently and Niagra smoked their opponent that night on the road..... need to research more, but

hornets and magic lines are so low simply because they are on the road i think.... there is so much parity in the nba that you rarely see the hot or elite teams as huge road favs, no matter who they are playing.... and rightly so... i hate betting the NBA, any team on any night can beat any team, if the better team decides to take the night offComment -

niagara - theyve won 5 of their last 6 at home against loyola but loyola is on a 5 game streak...3 of which were on the road...
fairfield - canisius gets beat by an average of 15 points a game and fairfield has beat them 3 out of 4 in their last 4 games at canisius...id be worried that out of all the 3 games canisius won they were all at home

not that i put much stock in this but... iona beat ST peters a few weeks back at home by 19 points.... i dont put much stock in it because in ncaa for whatever reason these home-away series usually flip flop.... dont know why but when one team crushes a team at home often when they meet them on the road they get crushed by same team they beat up on a few weeks earlierComment -
