i looked at the play by play at the end of the game and it wasnt the foul that killed you it was the missed one and ones bby monatana.... they had two chances in last 16 seconds to go up by 4 if they hit their free throws and they missed front end of one and one in last 16 secs of game.....
that is why i no longer will take a team, regardless of how big a mismatch it is, unless the team i take hits at least 73% from the stripe as a team..... every game that killed me in the last few minutes on saturday was due to missed free throws in last two minutes....
it seems to be a real epidemic in college ball nowadays, you would think D 1 coaches would clamp down on this but it just seems to get worse and worse every year....
i would bet that if you track back, teams with 70% or better from the line have a winning record ats and teames below 70 % from the line are atrocious ats.... this will definitely be the largest factor in my capping from now on, Free throw % and turnovers, if this proves to be successful i might even come up with a system that combines those two statistics to predict winners.... if so i will post it.... i will work on it tonight....

yeah i saw they missed two 1 and 1's, but still you dont foul w/ 14 seconds left with a 6 point lead. let them work to get points dont give them freebees at the stripe ya know? but yeah you still have to put those down at the end of the game...

yessir...my first mistake was taking a team i had no clue about. i wouldve been more content taking the mavs and losing than a team i have no clue about...kinda like putting my pennies into a jar i have no idea about...
