Watching the pre game should make everybody love Butler all the more. Injuries all over the place for MSU not listed on places like CIR. Agree that MSU is a fraud, but Izzo doesn't have to worry about playing NBA talent all over the place this go around, which usually destroys him in a Final Four. No UNC or 01 Zona this time. It wasn't even any fun as a UNC fan to get MSU for the title game last year. That was an easy fkn joke, even on paper.

pretty average non conference record and they only beat one real team Xavier.
then they won 20 in a row in conference incl. 2 in the conference tourney.
then beat powerhouse conference usa UTEP & Murray St in the dance .... i can't explain the win over syracuse and then they beat a KSU team just off a double overtime drainer (i even had butler in that one, it was so obvious) but i am not impressed with the record of their so called, "tough non conference schedule". how highly ranked was their conference schedule????? can't imagine it was very high..... i have to believe Mich ST/Izzo is the wise play here.
