For no other reason than Duke will be the beneficiary of every call known to man in this game. Great physical and defensive teams like WVU are always penalized for some reason on final four weekend because of this particular style of play. Seriously, go back thru time in this tournament. It has happened frequently! The last instance was 2007. UCLA versus Florida. All year long, UCLA played the same style: Tough, solid defense and they were very physical. Look at what that style of play got them against Florida: 3 starters to the bench in foul trouble the first five minutes of the game and they watch Florida live at the free throw line getting 31 attempts to their 13. This game will have the same result and WVU will never be able to overcome having to change their style of play. Duke wins easily and CBS avoids a potential ratings disaster for the final on monday night.

West Virginia wins outright. Duke has transformed from a pure 3-point shooting team in recent years to a team build on defense and rebounding. The problem here is that West Virginia is better at both.Comment -
