    UConn Women vs. FSU Tuesday
Getting this write-up out early because I will be gone most of the day tomorrow. The spread will be posted later because lines for Women's Basketball are slower than most. If someone sees the line please post it.

    Expected Line: 17.5-25

    Team Stats:
FSU averages 74.5 points per game and allows 60.0 points per game.
UConn averages 81.9 points per game and allows 45.9 points per game.

    Head to Head:
The two teams met on Dec. 28th 2009 at FSU and the UConn women won by 19 (78-59).

    Similar Opponents:
They two teams played 6 similar opponents which will be broken down below.

    Clemson:
UConn played Clemson at home and beat them 87-48.
FSU played Clemson twice beating them on the road 80-50 and at home 67-50.
UConn +15 (we average the two FSU wins)

    UNC:
UConn beat UNC at home 88-47.
FSU beat UNC 83-73 on the road.
    UConn +31

    Duke:
UConn beat Duke on the road 81-48.
FSU lost to Duke 73-43 on the road.
    UConn +63

    Depaul:
UConn beat Depaul 95-62 on the road.
FSU lost to Depaul 75-60 at home.
    UConn +48

    Saint John's:
UConn beat Saint Johns 66-52 at home.
FSU beat Saint John's 66-65 in overtime at home.
    UConn +14

    Temple:
UConn beat Temple in the ncaa tournament 90-36.
FSU beat Temple at home 77-64.
    UConn +41

    Our Number: UConn -33

Reason: UConn has played clamp down defense in the tournament. They are playing much better then when the two met in December, if that is possible. FSU has played two close games in the tournament. This will not be close.

    UConn wins 78-45.

I will update the post when a line becomes available.

No one will come within 20 points of UConn in this tourny. Most lopsided championship men or women ever. Would love to see the Uconn women play the boys tournament LOL

They'd be lucky to get 20 points on them. UConn Women's team is amazing, but let's not get carried away here

I agree, the game spread is also very likely, but UConn usually comes out with guns blazing in the first half (that Maya chick usually drains a ton of shots), so this might be the even safer pick. Both picks should be relatively safe though.

I really like Florida St team here, 27.5 is way too mAny points. I see this game being a shootout because Florida State girls can run and will be putting up alot of points vs conn. I am thinking at most conn wins by 16, but won't be surprised if it stays in single digits you heard it here first.

Can't lay 27.5 points in a game of this nature.

How will fla st run with them UCONN plays Stiffeling defence and has turned on the defence during this tourney run.. I was watching a interview with a few of teh ladies and they say they are on a mission to not only keep the ball in out of their oppositions hands but to keep them from scoring..period.. and they have done so this tourney .. how can fla sts keep up .. they will not be able to penetrate and they are not golden on the outside.... UCONN rolls again by 35-40

O/U could go either way. Would lean under since UConn has been digging in with vice grip defense, but if they're firmly in rout mode late in this game - you never know.
