Prepared to make Tom Izzo a contract to be the highest paid coach in college basketball. Will he leave Michigan St and go for the money?

Yeah thats what i heard burrito. Tubby isn't a bad choice either that program does need quite a bit of help. But they do have the money and a new arena.

Oregon is the type of program where a young but established coach could really thrive. . .someone like Jay Wright or Billy Donovan. I like Tubby, but don't think he is a long-term answer. Also not sure how he would do on the left coast.

Izzo has never been out of Michigan. That's a clone you see at road games

izzo didn't decline, he is on record with espn as saying he hasn't had any contact with oregon at all, either way, i personally don't think he'll leave MSU, just my opinion and certainly stranger things have happened

I'd lose all respect for anyone like Donovan or Izzo who left perfect situations for the money. I can see Tubby going though. They oughta look at Randy Bennett from St.Mary's.

Izzo makes $300,000 a year to wear Nike apparel, and another $25,000 a year in Nike Store credit, and he took on the alumni when Nike redesigned MSU's logo = Phil Knight wants him. And we all know Phil Knight gets what he wants! Oregon is prepaired to offer him a $4 million a year contract, and god knows what incentives Uncle Phil will give him in incentives

Call me crazy but who wouldn't want to be the highest paid college coach in history, in a brand new arena, with unlimited Nike resources? Also remember that Oregon's baseball team pulled George Horton away from Cal State Fullerton after he had been there 11 seasons, 6 college world series trips and a national title in 2004. Money talks, just watch.

Thats like saying you'd disrespect Lebron for leaving Cleveland this off season. This is a job for these guys.

IZZO said last year during an interview I member that he would never ever leave Michigan State.
