Izzo wants players that are going to stay a while.

Izzo has a virtual pipeline to the fertile basketball grounds of Detroit, and really, can get any player he wants from anywhere in Michigan. He also has done well in Ohio, getting Roe (a 5* recruit) and Payne (a 5* recruit coming next year).

Wait until you see next year's team -- they only lose Raymar Morgan (assuming none of the juniors go pro), and they add Keith Appling (a McDonald's A-A guard), Payne and Russell Byrd (6-8, 4* swing from Indiana).

Although Calipari has baggage he is still a solid ball coach. At the end of the day the players are playing not the coach.

Izzo would probably be bald dealing with idiots like Cousins and Bledsoe.

20 coaches in the country, literally at least 20 of them, could coach kentucky and be successful

Kentucky just was flat that game. If they would of hit any 3's they would have won by 80.
