elite 8 games with a total of 145 or less have gone over 23 times and UNDER 8 times. 23-8. Yesterday it was 1-1 and i happened to have the KSU game UNDER only because it fit a different system. But both of these games fit the same system. GL though.

I don't believe in systems. I'm sure they work for some, but I don't think so.

i was looking at this same system. while i can hear what GoVols is saying about systems (i.e., who cares that a team is 7-1 ATS on Wednesdays?), this one is relatively legit, i think. it speaks to teams in a particular kind of spot, where extra FTs and fouls are likely because it's the ultimate elimination game. and it's long term, back to 1999. it's worth noting that a similar Sweet 16 under system did well this week.
i'll probably play the Baylor/Duke over. going to no-play UT/MSU total because another reliable system (under neutral court, both good def teams (63-67 OPP PPG), either team off <= 125 total pts in last game) is contra, and that system has done well for me last 2 seasons.
BOL to you today.

Thank you, sir. I appreciate the in-depth response. Always nice to get some some more info. I see you too are system man and I actually wasn't aware of the latter system you mentioned. I've been using a similar one (play under - neutral court teams that outscore opponents by >=8 PPG after scoring 80+ in 2 straight games) and its done well also. GL with the rest of the tourney.

same to you. i think systems are very useful as part of capping. if nothing else, i never switch sides, but where my numbers and the system disagree, i might no-play. i try to track when those situations work out, but it's a little difficult. i know that a number of times, i end up thanking a system for saving my ass when my own numbers were off for a game.
