Give me Butler please... I want the guy that can shoot a little. I don't know much about college basketball but all season it was apparent against teams that slow the game down and make it a half court game that John Wall and Kentucky stuggles. Wall is an amazing athlete and deadly in the open court, but is useless in the NBA unless he learns or develops a jump shot. I know WV defense is good but if you cant score on them you will not have any luck in the NBA... I do know that. Wall is better suited for those AND1 teams that travel and dunk on people.

Wall, his ability to control not only his team but also the entire game is just too valuable

Ya he controlled the game last night. Wall is just an athlete can't shoot with a shit. Can't make free throws. I guess it's easy to run and gun in the sec and get away with shooting that bad.

Yea, as you can tell i agree from my above post. He is a great athlete no doubt. He was exposed last nite on the national stage though and I am sure that doesn't help his draft stock.. If he is going to play in the NBA he needs alot of development. He needs to start enrolling for some more classes at Kentucky.. I wouldn't draft that guy now in the 1R period let alone #1 overall. The NBA is flooded with athletes just as good or better..

One player that come to mind is Shannon Brown of the Lakers.. He is light years above John Wall and just as good or better athlete and he is a 2nd unit player for the Lakers and spent some time working on his game in the D-league. If I could choose between Wall and Shannon Brown I would take Shannon Brown and he is a bench player in the NBA.

It's sad how espn promotes these average players.

Wall is faster dribbling the ball than most without the ball. The guy is explosive. Butler is clutch, but Wall is amazing.

both would be fine but if picking just one for an NBA team i would take a creator like Wall who is super fast/can penetrate and will develop in time to also be a great shooter.

Wall by far. He has 3 more years of eligibility, Butler has none. Wall is an amazing rebounder, passer, and leader. Butler is not, he hits big shots. Wall is 19 years old, he's gonna develop a jump shot, and if he doesn't o well, hes gonna be a faster Jason Kidd mold. Wall didn't get much help last night from any one on his team. WVU had everyone stepping up.

Not at all but anything is possible. You think Wall isn't even worthy of a first round draft pick when he is a consensus top 5 pick.

I"m a WVU fan, and it's John Wall.

Wall can learn and develop a jump shot.
Bryant can't learn how to run/move faster.
