no Lucas will catch up with MSU sooner or later. i think he went out against Maryland when MSU had an 8 or so point lead in the first half. ended up being a buzzer beater. so maryland outplayed them by good sum of points without Lucas........then they beat a good N.Iowa team but no one knows how good that team really is. so here they are without Lucas against a top 10 tennessee team. summers better shoot the lights out or this is the game no Lucas eventually gets themComment -

Injury to Roe I think is being way over looked. How many of you have played sports, especially with preexisting injuries. If you tweak it similar to how Roe did his knee in the first half of that game, you can usually draw on adrenaline to get you through the day. It is once you let it tighten up over night that you are DONE. There is no way he is in any kind of shape to put up even 20 solid minutes tonight. MSU looked like tehy were playing the second game of the weekend at the start of the NIU game. They are going to be real beat up today and if TENN starts to get going midway through the game I can see MSU folding. IZZO is a hell of a coach but this is quite a mountain to climb. MSU relies heavily on their shooters as well and when legs get tired that and decision making are the first to go.

Tennessee has the athletes to beat MSU and with Lucas out MSU is without its best player but that team has the bangers down low and Lucius and Allen outside and you can never discount a Tom Izzo team.
