He's a WVU fan/alumni like me.... I think he was trying to be sarcastic, but didnt make much sense here....Probably arguing against the idea that the loss of Truck Bryant was going to be a huge deal as many believed Mazzula wouldn't be productive.....Man was Mazzula productive....WOW....

BTW I grew up in Fairmont WV, 20 miles down the road and a historic sports town in its own right (Mary Lou Retton, several NFL and other Pro players)...Got my Bachelors and Masters from WVU so no bandwagon here!!! Have lived in Morgantown for 5+ years.....GL guys!!!!!

if UK doesnt go 4 for 32 shooting 3's they win this game easily, but miss after miss put a ton of pressure on them. WV won the brick city lottery last night and would lose 5 of 6 to UK from what i saw

fair enough, but UK hasn't been a great 3-point shooting team all year, and would've been better served realizing that they weren't hitting 3s and gone inside. their shot selection was atrocious, they were late to loose balls, and their defense was bad. Cal is a crappy coach and UK is a garbage team. also, give some credit to WVU's defense. it seems as if a lot of teams have very bad shooting days against them. they punched UK in the mouth and UK sulked and settled for 3s instead of pounding it inside. if they play 6 times and that happens in all 6 games, i think WVU wins all 6.

they couldnt play inside cause WV clogged the paint. UK just missed a lot of open 3's where WV made a bunch of contested 3's in the first half to set the tone...........WV got lucky but you are right cal sucks, he should have evened out his squad my getting a lee humphrey like 3pt specialist for exactly this type of game. UK knew they would be getting open 3's but had no one who could stroke them at a 45% clip......cal sucks and just blew the best team he will assemble in a long time.
