Every time Tennessee is expected to succeed they fail to come through.
Every time you back an Izzo team he rewards you.
Tennessee is the better team, but hard to back them twice in a row.

Bro,
I have been thinking the SAME thing.
Depends on which Tennessee shows up.
The GOOD one will SMOKE Michigan State NO MATTER WHAT....
The BAD one get's BEAT DOWN....
Tough call.

Tough call.
If Lucas were playing, this would be a no-brainer.
I don't like Tennessee's combination of athleticism and defense without him in the lineup.

A win tomorrow would only enhance his legacy. MSU really has no business being in this position, and is not the better team in this game.

Play Baylor, then use a small chunk of your winnings on this one.

SPARTANS went to Final Four last year, think they repeat. Think the wrong team is favored.

I really like Tenny Volunteers they have been thru a lot this year.
I still have them 40-1 to win it all and just went -1 for game tomorrow
They have size and talent.
Unless Izzo is gonna don a jersey and replace Kalin Lucas
I'm volunteering my $

Yup playing baylor for two units maybe... I don't think I can bet against MSU. Pearl is one hell of a coach also, should be a great game. I might try to find an angle on the total instead....

i just parlayed tennessee and duke both ml, which i feel like is a good bet, but then again, what do I know. i went 50/50 in the sweet 16 (picks are here, i changed my st. mary's pick to baylor, which was obvi a good call and pushed on k st...i consider a push a win).
in the elite 8 i bet butler against the spread for the 1st half, won that, then bet k st for the 2nd, lost that. then i put wvu on the ml, which i would be able to brag about had i not parlayed it with the under. i hate totals and dont usually bet them, but figured if wvu wins, it'd be their defense that wins it, not their 3 pt shooting. silly me.
if tenn and duke come thru, i'll have a profit going into the final 4, and i'll be happy. i think they're both good picks. take my advice for what you think it's worth.

Izzo's success and stats are plastered all over ESPN day and night. I agree he is a great coach but I don't think there is any advantage to be had over the books on this one. I think the books have taken the Izzo factor into consideration here. The public loves Izzo because nobody can stop talking about him. He hasn't done anything special this year IMO. His team underachieved all year long and they have been fortunate with the opponents they've faced in this tourney. That said, it's difficult for me to ever trust Tennessee. Tennesse or no play for me......

Yeah, they've only beaten the WAC champ, the ACC champ and the MVC champ who just happened to kick the shit out of the tourney's overall No. 1 seed in the previous round....

We just argued about this last night You just said above they have no business being in this position Let me guess, the only reason they are here is because Izzo is a genious? So when a team is a preseason #1 or 2 and then underachieves all year long and then wins a few games in the tournament their coach is a genious? Are you really bragging that they beat the WAC and MVC champs? Give me a break. N. Iowa kicked the shit out of Kansas???? You are so delusional that you can make someone who actually likes Izzo (myself) argue against him!

Lucas played in 1.5 of those games. Allen is at about 50%. Roe is putting off surgery, which he will have as soon as the season is over.
Yes, they have no business being in this position, given three starters are either out or playing like a shell of their former selves.
Let's be honest: Kansas was whipped by UNI. Just because they made a late run doesn't mean they weren't completely dominated that entire game.

Without Lucas, MS Guards can't compete with Tennessee. Major edge, take TENN -1.5

now i know luscious is no lucas but he played exceptionally well last game, playing all but one minute hitting a couple of threes and making prolly the shot of the game that put uni out of reach for the comeback. match-up wise, it looks like tenn should dominate but with izzo, some d, and good ball movement around the perimeter the sparties have a chance here.
