NCAAB Saturday Plays

Week to Date - 12-10 +33.90 units

College Hoops Postseason - +48.90 units

I dropped (-6.70 units) last night going 2-2 on the night, lost 11 units on the Tenn/Ohio St under and (-5.70 units) on Northern Iowa but did pick up 5 units a piece on the Northern Iowa/Michigan St under and Baylor, so a total net loss of (-6.70 units) for Friday. The good thing is still up for the week and in a good position of getting my seventh winning week out of the past eight weeks, plus up close to 50 units for the college postseason and halfway home to achieving my goal of 100 units during the postseason tournaments. Alright time to move on to tonight where I have 3 straight plays (both side plays) and 1 teaser.

Saturday Plays

Kansas State -4 10 units

Kansas State pk & West Virginia +8 10 units

West Virginia +4 5 units

West Virginia ML +170 5 units to win 8.5 units

Kansas State

The biggest question here or I should state it as the biggest fear of Kansas State backers here is the good old fatigue factor. Well I would be lying if I was to say they would feel as good today if they only played a regulation game Thursday as opposed to a double overtime game but lets keep in mind that these are college kids and what is on the line with a win in this spot. In addition, its not like Butler had any easy time down the stretch against Syracuse with the game coming down to the wire, so if we are bringing the fatigue factor into the mix, both clubs could me a little un-rested than they would have liked. With that aside, I expect this Kansas State game to take last game against Xavier as a learning experience and this time when they get up double digits, they will not piss it away and have to fight for their life to stay alive and advance. And yes, I do expect the Wildcats to have a double digit lead in this one as well and I do expect them to maintain it this time unlike against Xavier. I have said it all tournament that this team is a reflection of their coach and expect he gave them an earful in between games and illustrated the point of how lucky they were to have the opportunity that presents itself tonight after they nearly pissed away the past game. Expect a solid effort and game from start to finish for the Wildcats and I expect them to win this one by double digits and punch their ticket to the Final Four.

West Virginia

Both West Virginia and Kentucky have made it look rather easy in the first three rounds with the exception of a few hick-ups here and there but I will say this from my observation of Thursday night, if the Wildcats play like they did in the 2H vs. Cornell, this game will not even be competitive. At one point in the 2H vs. Cornell, I checked the score and it happened to be at the turn and the Wildcats only had I believe 12 points, if they have droughts like this against the Mountaineers, its game over. Just basing things on my observations of Thursday, the Mountaineers played head and shoulders better than Kentucky but you just can't base it on that because A. it was only one game/night and B. they were playing entirely different opponents. With that said, I have not cared for either of these clubs this year and I'm still not sold on Kentucky, but I will say that I have been quite impress with the Mountaineers and they are starting to make me a believer that they will reach the Final Four before losing to Baylor. I'm backing the better club at the current time in this spot on both the ML and ATS.

Teaser Play

I'm throwing in the teaser play because like I said I really like them both straight up and feel this is a solid play to add to the two single tickets.

Final Four

I got the Final Four looking like this, I really feel Kansas State, WVU, and Baylor will get there, as for the other game I am still undecided at the current time but at first look I would lean to Michigan State but that is just at first look; need to do some more research on Sunday games before making my final predictions.

I'm not really a 1H or 2H player, do play these type of plays at times, but usually just stick to full game sides and totals, with that said, I do like Kansas State laying 2 in the 1H tonight. I just feel that the lead they blew to Xavier in their past game will only make them tougher out of the gates here and this time around they will not piss away the lead. Plus with the exception of the Syracuse game, Butler has not looked good in the 1H in the first and second rounds. I like the 1H spread as well, but usually just try and stick with full game plays. I think a lot of it has to do with ESPN throwing out a trend that teams are 0-9 SU in the tourney coming off an OT game, but as I stated earlier all trends are made to be broken and cappers take pride in stating when these types of trends end.
