I agree but I just cant bet this game. With Kentucky blowing out their first two opponents, I just see Cousins and Wall working on new dance moves all week. This is a young squad v.s. a veteran squad.
Im really looking forward to this game. Kentucky getting bumped in the sweet 16 by an ivy league team would make my year.

10 minutes into the 2ndH the game wont be close.
If I had the points I would take Kentucky -12.5, and let everyone else take the other side.

Kentucky is beatable. If Tenn and South Carolina can take shots at them, anyone can. Lets not forget the SEC is pretty week.
Im really freaking out at the thought of duke making a run here. It would be absolutely insane. They got the coach and the free throw shooting. They play defense. That would be awesome.

Prediction machine .com has Duke winning in blow out fashion.
12-3 ATS in the tourny thus far.
Hit all of their locks too. K-St. first round, and 2nd, Xavier 1stround, Baylor 2nd round.
They have Kentucky, Duke, and Baylor in blowouts this round. Then they have Xavier, Washington, & Michigan St. covering
You know just like me... These touts run hot. It never lasts, but their picks support my feeling in all my games. So I'm going to ride the money train.
Also those are paid picks I got from a friend at school. They charge on their website.

Bullshit. A blind squirrel does not win two straight against good team by 18+, not trailing since they were down 5-4 in the first round. I very well may end up on Kentucky here, but that does not change the fact that your post was fukking retarded.

If they played each game 100 times, Cornell would win less than 1/4 of all those. My point is anyone can win on any given day, that is why they play the game. However, play more games and the better team wins. Hence why Championships are "The best of 7" ect...
And yes, you can win the lotto twice in a row, you can get struck by lighting twice in a lifetime, and Cornell can win twice in a row.

Defintely think Cornell is being over valued some here because of the impressive wins, but neither of those teams has the athleticism, size, speed of Kentucky. This is all about perimeter defense. Given that Calipari had four days more or less to prepare, I am sure they will be schooled in what and what not to do. Also watch Kentucky's bigs - they have the depth and skills down low to take Foote out of the game or fatigue him - neither of which Temple or Wisconsin had.

Also I want to add I actually handicap, something I'm still not sure many on the forum do, and the stat that stuck out for me is Cornells shooting in the first two games...
A combined FG & 3PT of first two games...
60-102 FG 59%
17-38 3PT 45%
But through the regular season Kentucky's defense allowed.. 38% FG & 31% 3PT. Kentucky will be suffocating the three point line, and Cornell will not have an answer for Kentucky's offense.
I'm calling regression to the means, and the stiff competition from Kentucky will be able to slow that down
In final my next favorite stat is what Cornell is allowing their opponents to shoot... Temple 52% & Wincy 49%

Parlays are bad business
If you want to play the percentages, than parlays the two biggest favorites. Duke Kentucky. Wont pay shit, but has the biggest chance of cashing.

ST. Marys = Dream over.
Not that matchup advantage they had in the first two games.
Baylor brings 2 7footers, and 2 6'10 forward/centers.
Villanova, and Richmond combined had no one over 6'8

Villanova has two big freshmen 6'10+, but they choked in the tourney Samhan made them look silly. But if Villanova put their 5 best players on the court they would have no one over 6'8.

Cornell scored on Temple and Wisconsin, they can deficitly score on Kentucky. Not betting it, just going to lay back and cheer for the Cornell upset, that would help my Duke play.

This is one of the dumbest posts I've read in a while. Did you watch Cornell's first two games? They dominated both from wire to wire. I would venture to say that would have beaten both teams as high as 80% of the time. Cornell is a very solid basketball team and executes better offensively than almost any team in the tournament (Duke may top them). They also play pressure defense every single minute and use a 10-man rotation to do it.
That being said, I think Kentucky is a very difficult matchup for Cornell (worse than Kansas was). I also think the line is slightly lower than it should be because everyone has jumped on the Cornell bandwagon.
To say that Cornell would have won those two games less than 1/4th of the time is just absurd.

The "high seeds" that could advance in order of likelihood to me:
1. Washington
2. Northern Iowa
3. St.Mary's
The first two get wounded teams. St.Mary's is that "hot" cinderella team that might defy wisdom. I agree that Baylor has the size to trouble Samhan, but if St.Mary's hits 3s ... they can stick with Baylor. That to me is the X factor. I think the bigs probably cancel each other out unless one gets saddled with fouls early. State without Kalin Lucas is going to be interesting. I think Izzo is obviously the superior coach in this situation and if anyone can find a way to offset the loss, he can. Still, if State is lazy at all, UNI will stick around to the end. I thought Washington had a chance before the WV injury. The only difference the injury will make is that if Washington is able to hit shots and press, their PG is going to get fatigued playing heavy minutes.

Cornell does not match up well with UK. Cornell played two slow paced offensive teams vs. Temple and Wisconsin. Both teams are no where near as athletic and fast paced as Uk is.
UK - 82
Cornell - 66
