    Great West Conference?
Does anyone know if the Great West Conference is going to be included in the 2011 NCAA tourney? I no that the winner this year got an automatic bid to the CIT but does anyone know if they have wait a couple years before they get included into the NCAA process or not? Just wondering think its great that these programs have a place to call home for sports now.

If they get included though it would open up 2 more spots though to the tourney right? It would go to 67 teams instead of 65. 2 play in games and 1 more At Large Bid ?

Why would they move it to 67? Wouldn't it make more sense to put it at 66 and just add one play-in game?

I believe the rule use to be minimum 5 years before getting an automatic bid. I think they have other things working against them like size of conference and the fact that a certain amount of there teams were not together in other conferences prior to joining. I know these all use to be taken into effect in the past.

bc theres an odd amount of teams 65. If you move it to 66 then your stuck with one team having no one to play.

If Pine Bluff played Duke Winthrop would have no one to play. thats with 65 teams

But if Pine Bluff played Wintrhop and GWC played Duke then where do you put the winner of the Pine Bluff Winthrop game. Because all the slots are taken
