How is this possible? I think this guy can be a good player on the next level, has great awareness, not a great athlete but still piles up rebounds and blocks, and is very hard to guard, will see how he does against Baylor's big guys.

#2i think that he will be drafted now. i totally agree those first two games this tournament are no fluke.................he might not have the physical stats but he can play and some NBA teams must get that. especially since he will only be required to log 10-15 minutes a night early in his career. he playes like an NBA vet right now, hes smart and he is skilled, those projections will change i betComment -

#3A strong tourney run can have a big influence on a player getting drafted. If St. Mary's continues to play well and Omar catches the spotlight he could very well find a home on draft day.Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. #7totally agreed he has "it" and will always find a little corner of the NBA to fit into. he would be perfect for a team that doesnt mind his lack of defense but would love a guy who can create something out of nothing on offense and shoot above 43%Comment -

#22If he was black he would get more than 3 inches off the floor...
This guy would get abused in the NBA. He has a few moves but guys in the NBA would swat his shit all day long. This guy needs to lose the baby fat and start working on his vertical because I haven't seen him finish strong to the hoop all year. Do you guy's watch the NBA? He aint ready...Comment -

I think anyone projecting him to be undrafted is really discounting what a good couple of games in the tournament can do for your stock.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#24He's been fortunate to go up against small sized center's so far. Let's see how he does against guys his size. I'd rather take Tyler Hansborough.
Plus, I really don't see an upside to this guy. I think he's topped out as far as his talent and abilities. I doubt he can improve much from here.Comment -

#26Samhan was a nobody until the tournament. You don't make the NBA on two games in the nCAAs. He's good against inferior opposition, but quality big men will negate him.Comment -

#27He's not very athletic and he isn't in great shape. The NBA is for the 300 or so best basketball players on the planet. With guys coming out so young these days, the NBA often drafts on potential. Samhan could very well may find a role in the league, but he's very far from a sure thing. On defense, he'll be a liability in the NBA.
he's exactly the type of guy i like to root for though, and i hope he does get drafted and does well. At worst, he'll have a good career somewhere overseas, make good money, and marry some hot chick. He'll be OK.Comment -

lacks the strength to compete down low in the NBA (of coarse you would think that is fixable, then again why hasnt he fixed that already)....nice footwork but isnt that quick and like has been mentioned several times the guy cant jump and/or finish strong around the rim....up to this point not sure what NBA level talent ppl are talking about that he has playedComment
