Does LB post his college plays here as well? Or does he post them in his NBA thread? I like Tenny and Baylor but hate that they are both public favorites. Input?

Any thoughts on the two games today MT? I think todays games are a lot harder to cap than yesterdays. I'm leaning Mich St +2 & Duke -5. When watching Tenn/OSU I noticed Tenn had way too many points in the paint & they had more rebounds & second chance points against the Bucks. This is something I don't think will happen against Mich St because I think they are bigger & more physical than OSU. I can see them playing more of a zone & packing the paint & making Tenn hit jumpers which is not one of their strengths. Basically I think the game comes down to offensive rebounding. If Tenn gets them like in the OSU game they win if not they lose. I can't see them shooting lights out, but I may be wrong. Also I can't ignore the experience Mich St brings to the table & whenever everybody is on Tenn they almost always seem to choke.

As far as Duke/Baylor goes I think the line is a bit high but I don't really like backing such a big public play. I also don't like the rlm on the line so far. I don't think Baylor has played any real teams in the tourny yet either so they have not been tested. I wouldnt put too much in that beat down they gave St.Marys on Fri. That won't happen against Duke. I don't like the fact that Baylor has more of a home edge in this one being played in Houston. I wonder if the books set the line higher knowing they would get heavy action on Baylor? Think about it. If the line had opened at a -3 or -3.5 I think you would see more equal action on both sides. The -5 doesnt make sense to me. If I do anything on this game it will be Duke or no play.

I didnt say Duke played the toughest teams either. But I do think Cal & Purdue are better than what Baylor faced. I'm just saying something about this line being a +5 stinks & I'm not going to buy it. For me it's a play on Duke or pass.

What are your reasons other than they are both public plays? Anybody can say that. Give us your insight. Thats what this thread is here for. To share opinions and maybe shed some light on areas others may have overlooked. It's always nice to hear different angles.

Which way are you leaning on the totals. I'm leaning Tenn/Mich St un135.5 & Baylor/Duke ov138. But who knows I have been sucking on totals lately so they both are probably no plays for me.
