    Syracuse
Syracuse is the best team in the nation. When they get their big man back they should roll. They are rolling without him. Kentucky is not close to the team Syracuse is. Not remotely close.

And I absolutely despise Syracuse since 1996 Sweet 16 Derrick Coleman barely getting them by the Georgia Dawgs who had a good chance to win it all. I swear that game seems like last year. Time absolutely flies.

I'm not sure there is a "best team in the nation" but they are damn sure kicking the living daylights outa Zaga right now!

It was actually John Wallace who beat the Dawgs.

Yes it was John Wallace, OMG he hit some of the most ridiculously lucky shots over and over again in that game down the stretch. Georgia played perfectly and should have won the game. I think the game may have went to OT or double OT. I remember that night like it was yesterday. Where I watched the game, what we did after the game. It was the hardest loss I've ever felt excluding any gambling loss. This was before I became a hopeless degenerate.

Wallace was a great college player and it's not lucky when you hit shot after shot. I still remember that game and year too. Ran into a studded UK team in the Finals. Wallace did his best but he just did not have the supporting cast to hang with the Wildcats. This year there is so many ways SU can hurt you it really is difficult to stop them. I was not sure what to expect without AO but the team is quicker on Defense and I love the added playing time for KJ and Scoop.

What's funny is the people touting them as being the best in the country now were probably the same ones who said they were over rated after losing back to back to Louisville and Georgetown. They have a superb draw in the next round as Butler does not have the athletes to compete with them, so they should have a solid shot to get to the Elite 8. As an avid Syracuse fan, the one thing that bugs me is that the team does fall in love with the 3. When they're falling, they can't be beat ... but there will be a team down the line that defends them well and then my question is can Wesley Johnson work inside and can Onuaku come back and be a factor. Best thing to happen to Syracuse might have been the committee screwing them and putting them out West. With Kansas losing, the toughest team that play could be Kansas State before the Final 4.

The shot that Wallace hit to win the game, off balance, with 2 players draped all over him, from right on the 3 point line, he misses that shot 8 times out of 10.

Find where I said they were over rated, I didn't. I hate them, and they are still the best team in the country when Onuaku comes back. Syracuse has so many weapons that can shoot lights out, its unreal. No team like them in the country. #1 in FG offense. 2-3 zone is a top 3 defense in the nation.

I didn't say you specifically, did I? I'm saying there is a lot of chatter about Syracuse now after the first two rounds whereas there was a lot of people who had them down and out after losing that Georgetown game.

And where's the love for Jason Cipolla? He's the reason Wallace got to make that shot because he sent it to OT! By the way, the pass from Wallace was Grant Hill-esque.

Those were two of the best clutch shots in one game you'll ever see.
