True. If they get into foul trouble their bench is very thin.

Have you watched the first few minutes... They have no inside game without him ... No way they are better without him IMO ... They will go down soon in this tourney shooting jumpers

you watching the game moron? just like when harongody went out for ND. a lot of these college teams are better without a big man because they move the ball more. as long as the other team isn't very dominant inside, cuses guards/forwards, joseph and johnson are athletic enough to get boards and defend. cuse built this lead without jackson...you better recognize you clown-

they don't need to shoot jumpers, they are athletic enough to get inside without onuaku. i hate when cuse play both jackson and onuaku in at the same time.

onuaku does nothing but screw up their offense

no I'm just a Cuse fan, I'm not watching the game and I haven't watched every game this year. Listen, we're better with Joseph and Johnson in at the same time..every Cuse fan knows that. AO and Rick spell each other at center the majority of the game so we stay out of foul trouble and they stay fresh. You can ask any Cuse fan regardless of this game and they will all say we are better with AO.

i agree that one of them needs to be in. i hate when they are both in at the same time though. do you think they'd have this lead if onuaku was in and they were running the shot clown down and feeding him low? no, thats now how cuse wins, they win by passing the ball around and cutting through the lane.

look at kansas, they have the best big men and the country and they LOST by trying to feed them...the college game is just different...

Ridiculous statement. They're playing a team that obviously had a poor game plan today. When their threes aren't falling and there have been those games, Onuaku is needed. He's a huge presence defensively and offensively. For them to win the whole thing, he MUST play. To think anything less is ridiculous. They probably won't need him against Butler, but an Elite 8 against Kansas State, Xavier or Pitt ... he'd be a big plus to have.

You have to realize everything looks great when those outside shots are falling, but if they weren't today and this game was close ... everyone would be saying WOW, they need Onuaku.

i do hate when both are in at the same time. i think the lead would be the same, rick hasn't done much and riley had to play so AO wouldnt have hurt at all. we need AO when teams are actually able to slow us down and make us play in the halfcourt. he can score with both hands unlike rick and has the best fg percentage in the big east. no way ill ever say we're better without him but i agree them both being in at the same time is not a good lineup. it's not like ricky is running the floor making plays right now.

Onauku is an irrelevant player until Cuse play a team with sure fire post play.

Plus has anyone watched a Cuse game and said, " Man this Onauku guy was the key to the win"?? I never have. They are better and have more scoring threats without him on the court.

Not the point. It's about him and Rick being basically interchangeable. Keeping them both fresh and out of foul trouble. Obviously we have better players on the team.

Idiotic opening statement. The team's not deep enough to not miss a player of his talent.
