i popped my cherry with all this earlier this month and the tournament has definitely yielded the best results for me. i've been following these threads and finally felt prompted to join so i can join in the elation and frustrations. despite a rocky start with spring training, which seems hard to predict with spring batter rotations(!), the endorsements from SBR and a little intuition/luck has helped me close to double up this week alone on bball! 4-2 w/ 3 team parlays(not with any big upsets unfortunately). 2-0 kstate 2-0 baylor 2-0 kentucky among others! had some big money lines but the risk paid off. THX PEOPLE!!!!!!
so as i'm playing it today - DONT FOLLOW!riskin about 60% of my early profits and about 30% of my bank so lets hope i dont visit the cleaners! too much to miss out on imho.
Texas A&M -1(-130) 1 unit (they need Hummel. i hope...)
Cornell ML (+160) .25 unit (would risk more but espn/accuscore as well as freebie sites agree with me. this pick is as bright on the public radar as the one above! keep that in mind.)
Ohio State ML (-280) .5 unit (spread of 6 might be tough if G-Tech forwards compete and E Turner doesn't show up again having only scored 9 pts against UC Santa Barb..)
Duke ML (-275) .5 unit (once again 6 might be tough against cal shootin)
and an NBA pick - OKC THUNDER -2.5 (150) 1 unit (OKC is playin hot! and the pacers pretty much suck it up even tho they've won the last 4 at home which is where todays game is at. regardless i don't see the pacers putting up a fight as they usually choose not to. pacers are 1-7 in the last 8 games vs .500 teams)
