Villanova got a 2 and they deserved a 4 the way they closed out the year.

Kansas, Kentucky, Duke, and Syracuse deserved the 1s, and Ohio State and West Virginia are strong teams as 2s, but Kansas State and Villanova? Not exactly.

If you want to argue Ohio State and WVU were on par with the 1s, fine, but that's still four teams vs. two teams.

Kansas State lost to Kansas three times. Villanova played like absolute garbage the final month.

If a #2 wins it all, fine, but that doesn't mean the twos were better than the ones coming in. That's crazy.

1)You're making two different arguments. First it was " THE 2 SEEDS ARE BETTER THAN THE 1's!!" then, when challenged, it became "The 2 seeds are just as good IMO"


Both are wrong, but the first is more wrong. First off, they cannot be compared one to one, because that doesn't accurately reflect the disparity. Kansas is not just > Villanova. They're >>>>> Villanova.

Kansas and Kentucky were on a level above any of the #2s.

West Virginia and Ohio State can be argued to be on a similar level to Syracuse and Duke.

Villanova is/was hot trash.

Kansas State is below the #1s as well, but even if you argue they aren't, your argument still doesn't wash.

What is your argument, exactly? Kansas lost, so therefore they aren't good, and therefore everyone should've bet the #2s?

+200 was not good value before the tournament. With Kansas out, the bet looks a little better, but unless you knew Kansas was going to bounce early, you wouldn't have known that the bet had a better chance than the implied odds.

Kansas St is the most solid number 2 seed out of the 4 IMO and feel they will at least reach the final four and would not be surprised to see them in the title game.

They did not have as solid a season as Ohio State and WVU, which became the top 2 seeds which had shots at becoming #1s.

Maybe you feel Kansas State has more upside, though.
