Yeah, but they would have probably gotten equal money if they had OSU -20 or -15. But to come this close is unreal, especially for college. I could see if it was the NBA.

its not that hard........most lines you come up with in your head before lines come out should usually be within 2 pts of the vegas spread........

They throw a # out there that make you sweat a little, and feel uncomfortable, a might nervous, second guessing everything you thought was right with the world. If the score happens to land on that # it's called a coincidence

In a word, absolutely. Players like to know what they are favored by and when they see that number consciously they feel they are better than that team by some margin in that ballpark and try and perform many times accordingly.

If vegas was always that close everyone should just bet teasers and they would hit every time don't you think? You're getting an extra 8 points either way you want so if you think they are right on every game just bet teasers. You will find out they aren't RIGHT ON every time
