haha, this is hilarious.

I need to come read here before I place bets. I like that we are thinking the same thing. I took a parlay for the "what the heck" reason. I liked GT/OK st to score, just not the 1H line you were talking about, so I took the game. I upped your parlay by one, seeing how I"m just having fun because I haven't gambled in ~5 years.

Marlyand -500 ML
1:4.38

Plus USU +145 ML, risking twice as much on this as the Parlay.

Wow, we really overrated Utah St. I wonder if this was their worse shooting day of the year. TO add to that, A+M is shooting lights out (for them) from 3.

Got burned twiced today by teams playing a game completely out of character (Temple giving up 80+ and Utah St throwing up bricks)

yeah, 5-20 from 3, 0-4 from the line. woof. other than maybe playing the 2H at 3*, or avoiding 2H over since 1H went over, i'm not overly pissed at myself for the calls. how do you predict when the #1 3-point shooting team in the country will lay an egg when A&M is average on that front?

the only answer is to play more totals than spreads in the tourney. glad my next 3 are totals. well, assuming they hit.

thinking about Duke under and Zags, but going to pass on both as a penalty for that 2H loss.

Got FSU -1 . I've liked them for a while now, not going to back out just because I've went 0-3 this afternoon.

Look at 1st Duke total. 58 is a low number. You dont' think Pine Bluff can muster up 20 points?

ha ha, rick. i have some general parameters: max 6 plays for day as base, 1 2H that i get back so long as i win with it, no more wagers after my second loss occurs, and no picks above 3* once i start drinking. losing that 2H basically put me in time-out for the night. gonna kick out a few leans for some buddies in who are out in Vegas, but just watching with bottle of Jameson myself. so pissed i talked myself out of Zags. Bouldin won't go down easy.

3* GT/OK St 1H over 65 - WINNER. needed that. pace was proper from the tip but it slowed late. still 2-3 -6.1u, but it's good to catch a break.

Duke 2H under looks promising.

hey, we're all breaking our rules. that's all right. gotta spend some time this offseason working on 2H spreadsheet/checklist so that i do this blind. well, more blind.

drink a little scotch when it's around. tend to stick to jameson in the cupboard, but i'll never turn down a good scotch.

in recent years, Duke in the first round of the tourney has been way predictable. and it's a balance against breaking the rule against taking 2H over after 1H over earlier today. hey, after tonight, tourney's 1/2 done. might as well.

Man we think alike. I have UW in the sweet 16 in all of mine, and I have them beating UK in all but one. I did have Washington in all my brackets though

drink a little scotch when it's around. tend to stick to jameson in the cupboard, but i'll never turn down a good scotch.

I'm a scotch man, but if you like Jameson you should try Michael Collins. Much better IMHO

3-3 -3.1 due to poor weighting, Cuse over, Buckeyes under pending. Duke 2H under might've been best pick of the tourney. love Coach Ratface ordering the dis-airing of the ball in the first game of the weekend. good to atone for earlier bad 2H pick.

Biff you have an opinion on the Cal/UL 150 total? Seems low given both teams lack of defense.

Ul is one of those teams I'd like see the first 4-6 minutes of the game before I bet, they are so inconsistent.

i capped that mid 70s both teams, so over, coinflip ATS. if i had to, i'd go Cal i guess, but over is better. both pace and elim game aspect should be solid. you could justify 1H or game over. 1H total's a little high, so i guess, i'd say game over best angle. or you could watch, hope for 28-28 at half and pound the 2H over.
