reasoning:

BYU. they burned me against A&M in the first round last year, so this wasn't easy. BYU has historically struggled in the tourney, but this team is better than those teams. Florida's inexperienced backcourt is going to get depantsed by Fredette and Emery.

Mean Green. they haven't lost by 16 all year, though to be fair, that was in the Sun Belt. they did play A&M and OK State. K State has another game on Saturday, and the Mean Green are outstanding at producing points from the line. 16 points is a lot of room to get in the backdoor.

St Mary's/UR over. the pace won't be the reason, as the pace will be average 1H, then speed up 2H. this will be an elimination game over between two teams who will be able to get points against one another, and a lot of FTs 2H. looking forward to seeing what Samhan can do in the high post against the UR zone. hope it's not as bad as i expect for UR's sake. anyway, either team will foul to 10 and beyond at the end, and neither will be able to stop one another down the stretch.

great call on WGB, capri. was out last night and ended up watching W&M at a dive bar. by the end, the entire place was pulling for the Tribe. a loss, but a great watch. played W&M plus points last minute but barely remembered that until the end when UNC was missing FTs. they were leading UNC in Carmichael in the 2H. haven't enjoyed a SU loss that much in a long time.

thursday is gonna be a blast. off work next two days for my favorite holiday. looking forward to see what you have tomorrow. kinda hoping to keep my card small and get a few 2H plays. last year was real chalky. let's hope the pendulum swings back tomorrow...

interesting that the Greek has this at 13 when it's 13.5 everywhere else and the public's on Georgetown. so interesting, i'm going to play it. also, Gtown 4 games in 4 days for Big East final, then this game before UT/SDSU. with their lack of depth, this is a huge number to cover.
