I am on the ILLINi 1st half and the game. If they lose it will be a huge blow to this program. They have a lot of talent on this team. They are not going to be taking lightly and it will be a good game. I can see the ILLINI pulling away in this won and having a 14 point win. No way they lose this game though.המוסד

I have but one question: if Illinois' talent is far and away that much better than Stony Brook's why is the line only 6.5? I'm thinking the Illini rout them as well using the same logic as everyone else but I can not get past why this line is so low. If Illinois has played much tougher teams and beat a few very good teams how in the hell can they not beat a team that most people have never even heard of by double digits?

The opening line was -3.5 and now is -7. Would have loved to get that -3.5. Stony lost to Fordham. Fordham won 2 games all year long. Their other win was against Sacred Heart who also beat Stony. I can compare this B10 squad to this AE squad because the Illini only played 11 total road games all season, going 5-6 away, while the Seawolves went 12-1 at home (9 straight at home as well) with their only home loss being to a descent St Petes team. The Illini have trouble scoring and the Seawolves shoot lights out from downtown at home, so I expect them to be in this one from start to finish. Who gives a shit if they're a Big 10 team, this average at best, and especially on the road.Comment -

Big 10 is average so what does that make the America East? Like I said this is a conference with teams like Baltimore Maryland County, Albany, New Hampshire, Binghamton, etc. That conference can't compare with the Big 10 and Ohio St, Mich St, Wisconsin, Minnesota, etc. Illinois' away record isn't amazing because of who those games were against. Playing at Mich St is harder than Maryland Baltimore County at home. Playing at Purdue (with Hummel) is harder than playing Binghamton at home. Playing at Wisconsin is harder than playing Albany at home. Playing at Ohio St is harder than playing Maine at home. The competition these 2 teams play against are completely different. The 2 toughest games Stony even played were Rhode Island and St. Johns.Comment -
